"This is a historic place visited by the likes of Henry Ford, filled with fishing memorabilia on the walls, that is a great choice for a group (or family) who wish to test their skills on the Au Sable or other local trout streams Terry and the other staff were wonderful. The suite I stayed in, one of two with their own bath rooms, was commodious. It's well located on the north branch of the Au Sable, and only about 25 minutes from Grayling. "

"We absolutely enjoyed our overnight at this charming and quaint motel. We loved the hot tub and sauna. The grounds were so peaceful. Lots of adorable and thoughtful touches in our room too! "This cabin is obviously loved and used and we felt at home. One thing I missed in the posting is that there is no internet, and there is no cell coverage either. Therefore, we couldn’t pull up maps or the Vrbo app when at the cabin. The beds were comfy, although the smaller one would be tough for a tall person. I cleaned up the outdoor furniture to sit outside, but the mosquitos were too thick to sit for long. We enjoyed the cookies at the little bakery stand around the corner on 612 (Kate’s?)....
